Want to strut a runway?
Did you grow up watching Project Runway (or a certain infamous modeling show)? Ever wanted to walk a runway? Here's your chance!
On October 24th Cornerstone Theatre Company will be hosting a vintage bazaar/fashion runway fundraiser that will shine a spotlight on the game-changing and often underpraised art of costuming, and the intersection of performance and fashion.
The looks featured will be inspired by characters and/or themes from Cornerstone's upcoming second season (stay tuned!).
We are seeking 8-10 models - all shapes, sizes, gender identities, etc. etc. are so welcome!
The time commitment will be minimal:
1. A meeting (on your schedule) with the fashion buyer to fit you in your look.
2. On 10.24 we will be holding 2 runway shows. The first will be at 2:45, the second at 5:45. Call for models will be 2:05 (through 3:10ish) and 5:05pm (through 6:10ish).
The runway shows will be about 15-20 minutes apiece and you are welcome to head out after you're finished (or hang out with us and shop gorgeous vintage!)
This is a volunteer opportunity. Refreshments will be provided.
The show will be held at 1028 SE Water Ave.
